5 stars are NOT enough.
Went into today to collect a Hoover Vacuum to replace mine that was faulty.
Long story short, dealt with by Jamie. What an experience. Friendliness and helpfulness on point. Customer service 11 out of 10! Then while in store after feeling so positive I went upstairs to speak to Paul regarding microwaves etc, his expertise were exceptional and again so friendly and knowledgeable!! Could make this review go on for days after such a positive experience. Grabbed the manager I think Milli or similar to give some feedback (also fab) and promised I would leave a review and doing as soon as I got home! Went in with my best friend and even she said about putting in a review also for the experience.
Assets to your company, deserve a praise hands down!

Shot themselves in the foot ...seen a hisense big fridge freezer we liked but £150 more than other online retailers which I did buy off ..then literally look at the site today they've come down to the price of other online retailers ...So I would've bought it there and then ...Bizarre way to run a business when you know everything is a simple Google/bing search away.
Your loss, also hate how they profiteer in November hiking everything up for xmas customers seen it first hand over many Christmases,you only get 1 chance with me I'm afraid.

Excellent service, The guy that seved us was called Allan, his knowledge, advice and customer service was second to none. We bought a TV and because of their young man's help, we purchased exactly what we wanted. Thankyou and I hope the sales person, Alan receives recognition.

The criminal justice system should stop jailing people, and just send them to buy something at Currys instead. What an unhappy way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Don't get me wrong, the staff are great, but there's not enough of them and they're let down by the shop itself. I've never known any other shop where it's almost impossible to buy what you want.

I can't be the only person to have been through this. And it's not a one-off, it's every single time I've been there. I don't think I've ever gone to Currys and left with what I came for.

It doesn't matter what you want to buy - let's say you need a tumble dryer - the one you want isn't in stock anywhere in the country. And they aren't expecting any deliveries any time soon. (Which begs the question - why is it on display?) Now comes an eternity of trying to get a different model and being told none of the ones you've seen are in stock - so you end up either leaving empty handed, or buying the only one in stock which costs twice as much as the one you wanted in the first place, just to get out of the place with your sanity intact.

Seems very difficult to get served and then they don't have the stock available. Simply walked round the corner to Argos and made purchases there. Deeply underwhelming experience there but a good retail park with other choices.

Ordered IPad Pro 13 inch 1TB nano screen with the pencil (18thAugust 2024) and took out the comprehensive cover for £150 a year. Visited pc world Carlisle today (29thAug 2024)to find out if they had forgotten me when I asked the question to a (Here to help) tech guy she did investigate and said it was not in the warehouse and she offered me a refund. I do not want a refund I just want the product I paid for. I then asked what happens to the in store product insurance that I had paid for in full when not having the product that’s insured ?. Went away for a coffee and returned later to ask about the insurance and dealt with manager ( very helpful ) explained when I receive my iPad the insurance will be back dated to WHEN I Finally receive my IPad . Have always bought my tech products from PC World which ever disguise they went under, would have appreciated stock information at the time of purchase ie delivery time to store before purchase which would have had an influence. Come on PC World step up to the Plate there are suppliers out there who will always benefit from your lack of support to your hard working store staff.

Computer peripherals should all be available to try (mice/keyboards/etc,). There's mice on display that aren't available and have been on display there for almost a year.
